The mission of the Crawford Road Church of Christ is to seek and save the lost through sound preaching and teaching of the Word of God and by providing relevant, encouraging, and challenging messages to those seeking the truth while demonstrating a spirit of love to everyone we meet. 

Further, it is our intent that our members will be established and equipped for service through a knowledge and understanding of God’s will, His plan for their individual lives, and the absolute necessity of living life in accordance with His will in the home, on the job, and in the community while exalting God and causing the Church to expand in the process.

Crawford Road Church of Christ will uphold its mission through emphasis on the “wheel concept” within the framework of complete dedication to the 4 E’s. The wheel concept highlights three essential elements of a wheel: the center, the spoke, and the tire. At the center of the wheel are God / Christ / Holy Spirit / Word of God. Each “spoke” represents a different ministry – education, evangelism, tutoring, mentoring, youth, benevolence, single mother’s. Every “spoke” is connected to the center at one end and the tire, which represents the world, at the other. In other words, each ministry is God-centered, worked by the membership, and extends to the world. The 4 E’s are the essential ingredients that make the “wheel concept” possible. They are:

Establish a firm and solid foundation in Christ through a love for the Word of God and implementation of the same in every area of life so that one may truly have a Christ-centered life. our individual lives are able to grow strong.

Equip the saints for effective ministry through relevant preaching, teaching, and training in the word of God.

Exalt God through a sustained commitment to each ministry of the Church in the spirit of total allegiance to God and love for our fellow man.

Expand the borders of the kingdom through a sustained commitment to reach people where they are and help them get to where they need to be.
